What we want you to know We are seeing an increase in vehicle thefts involving Nissan Navara models across South Shropshire.

Preventing vehicle crime is a local Safer Neighbourhood Team priority, supporting the NPCC’s national campaign to disrupt organised vehicle theft. How we want you to feel Reassured that there are simple, practical steps you can take to protect your vehicle, and confident that your local officers are actively working to keep communities safe.

What we want you to do Help reduce the risk of vehicle theft by following these security tips:

 Always lock your vehicle and double‑check it is secure

 Use a steering wheel lock or other visible security device

 Park in a garage or well‑lit area where possible

 Keep keys out of sight and away from doors and windows

 Store vehicle keys in a Faraday pouch to block signals and help prevent keyless theft

 Make sure CCTV or doorbell cameras are switched on and working If you see anything suspicious or have information that could help prevent vehicle crime, please report it via www.neighbourhoodmatters.co.uk.
