Public Announcement: Boyer Developer Meeting – Netherton Lane Proposal
Highley Parish Council has arranged a public meeting with Boyer, the planning consultants for the proposed residential development at Netherton Lane.
Tuesday 22 September 2026
From 6:00pm
Community Hall, Severn Centre, Highley
This meeting has been organised at the request of residents to allow Boyer to present their proposals and answer questions directly. Highley Parish Council is facilitating this meeting only and has hired the room to ensure the community has the opportunity for a face‑to‑face discussion. The Council is not the applicant and is not promoting or endorsing the scheme.
Consultation Period Extended
Boyer has confirmed that the public consultation will remain open beyond this meeting, allowing residents additional time to submit their comments after hearing the developer’s presentation.
Residents are encouraged to gather and submit evidence relating to material planning considerations, such as:
Highway safety and traffic impact
Flooding, drainage, and environmental constraints
Impact on local services and infrastructure
Landscape, ecology, and heritage matters
Design, layout, and density
Noise, amenity, and neighbouring impacts
This ensures that responses are as effective and relevant as possible within the planning system.
Important Clarification
This developer meeting is separate from the Parish Council’s regular Planning Committee meetings and is not part of the formal planning process. It is an opportunity for residents to hear directly from Boyer and ask questions during the consultation period.
