It is with great sadness that Highley Parish Council announces the passing of serving Parish Councillor Chris Stanley, who passed away peacefully at home on Friday 11 September.
Chris served on Highley Parish Council for four years and was a kind, loyal, and dedicated member of our community. He regarded Highley as his home and was immensely proud of the village, working tirelessly to support and champion local causes. His commitment, friendship, and service were greatly valued by fellow councillors and residents alike.
Chris will be sorely missed by all at Highley Parish Council. Our sincere condolences and thoughts are with his wife, Terry, President of Highley WI, and with all of Chris's family and friends at this difficult time.

We thank Chris for his years of service and the lasting contribution he made to village life. He will be remembered with great fondness, respect, and gratitude.
Chris leaves behind a lasting legacy of service to our parish and dedication to the community he loved. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
